Last year I had a great thing happen! After 10 years of having chronic pain, it FINALLY went away. I was ready to work out! Yay! But there was a problem....Every time I tried exercising on my own, I'd have a pain flare up. I needed to work out -- but how? I checked out three trainers, including Chris. Several things stood out that made me decide to work with her. She was a direct communicator. She had a strong sense of who she was, but was also attentive to my needs and concerns about working out. She was fit, but not bulky. I'm petite, and had no desire to get HUGE. When I first began, I felt tentative and nervous -- but Chris worked at a pace that was safe for me. She respected my limitations. That was super-important, as I was rebuilding a sense of safety in my body. And just like that -- with Chris’ help -- I was working out! No flare ups! There are so many things Chris does that make me grateful to have her as my trainer! She's upbeat and positive. She's encouraging and gives compliments about what I'm doing well. She creates workouts that are just the right mix of cardio and strength training -- she knows what she's doing! She's well-rounded in fitness expertise, and isn't taken in by passing fads. She helped me -- someone who used to have chronic pain -- be stronger than I've ever been!

I have been training with Chris for about 2 years. She pursued me at Accolade Gym where I was exercising on my own, and I was impressed that she never gave up encouraging me to come train with her. Her other attribute as well as persistence is that she comes up with different exercises all the time. I have trained with several other trainers over the years ( probably about 7 at least) and not one was as good as she is about changing things up. I have been working with trainers for around 50 years and she comes up with something I’ve never seen before all the time. She is amazing. My last comment is that she keeps me on track and is all business when we are working out so that conversation is limited which I appreciate. She is always encouraging and with my limitations, she adapts. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have worked out on my own consistently for years, 3 to 4 times a week of weightlifting, running and videos. I would watch what I ate and I felt like I was in pretty good shape, but I was never able to lose those “few” pounds I felt I needed to lose. Chris changed all that. After attending her workout classes and personal consultations on nutrition and health goals I was able to lose 18 lbs. and keep it off. She has kept me motivated to attend her classes by constantly changing up her workouts, keeping them challenging and listening to class feedback.
